I woke up in a slight daze. ZZZzzzz.... I wanted to sleep more on a sunday morning. But I didn't. Cos I wanted to bring Zann to Downtown East to celebrate Children's Day.
After feeding Zann milk and cereal, we have missed the school bus arranged by the childcare. So no choice, got to take a public bus down.
First thing first was to fill my tummy. Settled for oily prata, my usual black kopi-O and kaya toast for my breakfast.
I saw this booth giving away free balloons. Hehe... So I was in the queue as well lo.
Packed and crowded.
Waiting patiently for the show to start with the blur look ...hehe
Maybe she was thinking and comparing the balloons besides her and the one she was holding.
This was interesting. All the different love-me messages for different ages.
Noticed that she was holding that orange balloon for so long. Refusing to give it to me lor.

Time for a $3 kiddy ride. "Zann, look here..."
Finally saw me...
She was still hoping for one more ride. Didn't want to leave the place. In the end, I dragged her away with her bitter cries.

Tired.
I was almost sucked out of my every last ounce of energy.
So glad that weekend is here. Time to get my worries shifted to the back of my head.
The above food was not take-away dinner. All cooked by me. Now you can imagine how tiring I was...
I was yawning away, couldnt keep my eyes open. Though I tried to play with Zann for a while. She was stacking up those legos, without my help for the first time...hehe
Okay. feeling damn tired now. Don’t feel like blogging liao. Just want to sleep and forget all my headaches.

About that gathering at Ikea this morning. I decided to give a miss. The weather wasn't good. And I am not feeling good also.
I decided to hit town today. Went to check some lanterns and mooncake. The place was super crowded.
Tired, angry and perturbed, I had problem moving in with the stroller around.
So many lanterns to choose ar...but still didn't see one that attracted me. I wanted to get a light and cute battery operated type.
In the end, only left with those ugly typical ones.
And I was sweating like a cow in an air-conditioning place lor
Saw Bro Ace and his wife. What a small world. We didnt chatted much. Everyone was in a hurry. hehe hurry to get mooncakes....
With so many different mooncake stall names, I was so blur until I couldnt decide which to get. In the end, settled for the teowchew yam mooncake.
Me first time ordered from Shi Zhen. Yummy...no yolks...I like. *thumbs up*
hee...in no time, me and zann guzzled one whole piece liao.

Bought a new stroller for Zann. At $62 after discount, was considered cheap. Most importantly, it was light weight.
SA told me could last Zann until 5 years old.. er..dun think by then she still need a stroller...

SINGAPORE: About 70 out of every 100,000 children under the age of 5 are diagnosed with pneumococcal infection in Singapore every year.
This pneumococcus bug can cause infection of the brain, lungs and blood, and may even be fatal in some cases.
....And at S$180 per dose, the cost itself may also put off many parents.
Zann was issued a cert of vaccination. Meaning that she has completed all the basic vaccination in her health book. Now left those optional ones. And one of them is the pneumococcal jab. I had asked PD is it neccessary to take this jab. He told me it's up to individual.
Hmm... to be safe, it's better to give.
and I will wait until after Zann turns 2.

I wrote in to apply for administrator but but, I was offered for the position of producer for a MNC advertising agency. Cos of my relevant experience in creative industry. But that was ages ago.
They called me three times. Despite me telling them that I dun wish to take up the offer.
WHY I CANT GET A SIMPLE ADMIN 9-6 job ??? Seriously, I dun wish to go back to advertising industry anymore. I am prepared to give up this career path for Zann's sake le. The long hours and the never ending deadlines... Like that surecan never fetch Zann home on time from childcare.

After came back home from childcare, she concussed on her bed. Didnt even want to drink water, and her milk.
The teacher forgot to give Zann the bread toast I prepared in the morning.
Me very disappointed with them la. Might as well I take care better.
I finally got the Desitin Cream. This brand is good for nappy rashes. I would recommend mummies this brand.
Zann's having rashes again. cos the teacher left her in the soiled diaper from 10am to 1230pm.
Yea I meant heavily soiled with POO lor. Some more got the cheek to smile and informed me. Geez...

We reached the community centre at 7pm. And the place was super packed.
We didn't stay there for long. Cos there was a heavy rain soon after. Somemore, Zann did not have her dinner yet.
Anyway, my main purpose was to redeem the goodie bag.

Plus one free mooncake. But me doesn't like. I prefer the snowskin type....hehe
This year will be Zann's first time to eat mooncake. But I got a feeling she will prefer snowskin also. Like mother, like daugter ?
I wanted to get her a CUTE battery operated lantern. A few more days to go before hitting on Mid-Autumn Festival.

It was a late afternoon. Surprisingly, it was not packed. Zann was so happy to her golden chance roaming around. Needless to say, I was busy running after her again.
Time to replenish our energy. And it's the only time she finally sat down.

The most famous and probably the most delicious gotta be their meatballs!
It's a must try item everytime i eat there.
Oooo....I love their sauce and that lingonberry jam. By the way, the meatballs are pork and beef mixed.
But i didn't buy the frozen pack of meatballs back. Though I wanted to. At $17.50, I thought it's expensive.
And not forgetting my all time favourite dessert. The Princess cake.
Like that eat, not shiok enough for me la. In the end, I bought a box back home. hehe
Nope. I am not buying that chair. Someone was testing sitting inside lor.

That's what they called themselves. And yes, it's proven. Over the counter, I saw some delightful sweet tiny exquisite-looking dessert.
Diet She has completely eating on all types of adult food.
Teeth now has increased to 2 molars on both sides Sums up to: 5 top, 5 bottom, 4 at the back
Vocab Can say one two and three. Like a sequence. When I teach her say 'teddy bear' in chinese, that is 'siao siong' she pronounced as ng ng. Can call tie ti (DADDY) and ma mi (Mummy)
Level of understanding She will hold and try to pull the diapers if she happens to poo. One of her way to tell me to change her. Knows how to pick up tissue paper and throws it to rubbish bin (when asked) Hugs/kiss/flying kisses when she knows she is in the wrong. Haha..This girl knows how to make pple forgive her.
Recently has shown GREAT interest in toilet. And I meant by going into the toilet to 'explore'. The naughtiest act was throwing my handphone inside the toilet bowl...tsk tsk.... Now that, each time she was given a scolding, she would head for the toilet and hide inside. sigh...

This time, not fever liao. This time is flu and sorethroat.
I think I didn’t drink enough water lately. I think I didn't have sleep early the past few nights. Last night ate hell lots of medicine and went to sleep early. Duno why I couldnt sleep properly.

On and off I keep waking up in the middle of night to drink water and go toilet. .no joke la...v tiring de lei....
Sibei sian one la. I CANT SLEEP PROPERLY.
I hate to kena sore throat. Duno why it takes forever so long to heal... Is it because I used to be a heavy smoker last time ?
sigh...my antibiotics useless one...finishing soon and not taking effect. ARRRRGH -------
Morning woke up with a heavy headache. Worse, Zann was going to be late for childcare. I dragged myself to boil water and prepare cereal for her. Luckily the rain has stopped.
Just because you thought Zann was at childcare hur... then I ll have enough rest at home ? WRONG ! I have to do laundry, sweep the floor, and cook Zann's lunch. Yea. For Zann. why? Cos there were times that she did not eat in the childcare lor. So come home with hungry tummy. sigh. Half a day passes so fast de....

I was still sick with flu and sore throat. Didnt wish to miss this, so I decided to watch it.
This time, I watched Ratatouille with Zann. It was her first time watching a movie..yea But she didn't manage to finish the whole show cos she has travelled to slumberland.

First was Zann. Next followed by myself. Yea...we were both sick. But Zann has recovered while me feeling terrible. I woke up with a bad sore throat and fever.
But my day did not stop there. Feeling sick with medication, I struggled to cope ALONE with the hyper active Zann at home... I almost lost my sanity lor.

Finally the wait was over in the late afternoon. Mr Postman came knocking on the door with the bag.

These were the few books I have bought for Zann last week. And it has been a long long time since I read aloud to her. I laid the books on the floor for her to choose.
But the attention span lasted no more than 15 mins. She's giving me a " I am not interested " attitude.

She refused to join the children when there's outdoor activity.
Feeling sad? Feeling lonely? Nope. She was feeling mischievous that's all...hehe
I started Zann in half a day with the childcare on Mon since. It was only a few blocks away. Frankly, i was feeling kind of edgy.
I wanted to start her because she is just doing nothing at home. And I guessed it's about time she also learns some good social behaviour and play and interact more with children of her age.
And it allows me to go interview while she attends school. Saving me the trouble looking for help...yea

Time to drag myself to do grocery shopping in NTUC. And it's drizzling.
Tired la. I guessed both Zann and me were tired. What a miserable way to start the afternoon.

Left the house with Zann. Rushed down taking a train. First time without stroller and I am heading to Expo..haha but i was sweating like mad...even in an air-conditioned place.. haiz..cos I was carrying her all the way to Hall 3.. walking all the way from hall 6 to hall 3 was tedious...
And the place was so crowded with so many kids.

The show started. It lasted for one and half hour.
Nice show. Zann enjoyed herself. She danced and sang as well... But I didnt let her stand near the stage where all the kids were. Cos nobody help to look after my bag..haizz
