Wanted to get fruits for myself and Zann, we went to NTUC early morning. The whole place was so crowded and everyone was busy buying and stocking. I have so much difficulty passing through with the stroller especially. And I couldnt find any kiwi except for the apples and oranges. So lousy!
One week plus since, and her cough isn't getting better. She has so much phlegm. I brought her to see the PD yesterday. She was given the change of cough syrup, Silomat and Terbutaline for clearing her airway. Previously, she has recovered from running nose, but this morning I saw mucus running down. Has the flu come back or is the cough syrup causing reverse effects? I called the nurse and she told me it's the cough syrup.
It has been a while since she practised walking. I gave her the activity walker today, she walked in an unusual pace with both legs far apart, like a penguin. It wasnt like this in the past . Has my girl lost touch learning to walk properly?

What's that? Ok I walk over by myself.

I saw something. Wait. Let me bend over and dig.

Huh? A pc of paper? How come not toy?

Can I go in and see again?

How to go in? Let me sit down and think first.

Hee. I finally went in the box, with mummy's help.

Mummy, how come no space to turn around?

Ok I am done. I am going back.
My first batch of pineapple tarts were churned out late last night.

For the pastry, I would need 250g butter, 500g plain flour, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp salt, 1tbsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 2 cups castor sugar. Preheat the oven 180C. Beat the egg and add to the butter at room temperature. Beat well for a few minutes. Mix in the salt, baking powder, sugar, vanilla essence and the sifted flour. Mix well to form a dough abt 1/4 cm thick. Make sure there's plenty of flour under the dough. Using a tart cutter and cut from the dough. Bake at 180C for 20mins until it turn golden brown.
