AL saw me doodling on Zann's magnetic board.

He told me that the drawings resembled Zann and me closely.

Sunday morning, and there's a reason for starting the day early ...

AL has made an appointment for a haircut+treatment+colour...blah blah...
Vain-er and and rich-er than me. *Roll eyes*

My first time going Square 2 also. I have been holed up at home for so looong..not even aware of this new shopping mall can...

I was soooo craving for sakae sushi and so so so.. I didnt hesitate to bring myself and Zann to have my lunch there. Heh. Just the two of us. Happy.

Walking around the vicinity of Novena did not require 2 hours or more also.
So, I brought Zann to the salon.

When Zann saw AL through the glass panel, she started to pout...and finally cried. *Scratched head*

I was telling her 'Daddy was just having a hair cut, will join us later". Upon hearing that, she cried louder this time.

Sigh, say so many times "come come let mummy 抱抱 " also no use.

Fortunately the cookies I bought earlier..... saved me.

Tired.

Sometimes bliss is staying indoors with the chance to Zzzz as well.

My first time meeting with the IdoBaby Mummies.

It was fun seeing all the kids, makan makan and chat chat, though I don't think I have time chit chat cos I have been walking here and there 'chasing' after Zann (who can't sit still).

Sad thing is the raisin bread pudding I baked to bring there ...was ...was ...was ..destroyed by Zann's itchy fingers!!!

The bread pudding landed on the floor instead of tummy lor.

P.s. No name tagging here, so u guess who is who lor...

Anyway, all mummies, it was fun meeting up.
As for those who didn't make it. let's do it another time...

I was too lazy to go out to buy the ingredients,
so I shall make do with what I have at home.

Best of all, I managed to get rid of my 2 days old pandan bread. *Grins

Cos I refused to let her continue with her playtime. But then, I love her pouty look, I find it adorable can...

She knows how to fake her expression too. When she sees us laughing, she would follow and continue to sulk after that. Her expression can change very fast one lor. More shouting, with more expressions coming..Tsk...Tsk..Tsk

I was watching the KFC TVC. It's about the new cheesy meltz launch.
I was 'mesmerised' by the sight.

My tummy is rambling and grumbling again... at this hour!

Should I take the donuts or order the KFC?

This is mind blogging man! I hate making decisions where food concerns...

P.s. Ended up eating both (ie. donuts and KFC).

I never have enough of that sweet fried piece of dough since last Mon.

And guessed what? My ~~gluttony~~ obsession took over me.

I did an insane act.

I travelled with Zann from home to Raffles City.

and... and... and I actually queued for 2hrs 30 mins
for 1 dozen of donuts !!!

Oh ....I can't believe that I joined that nabehly loooong queue.

Finally my perserverance has paid off.

Thank God!!!

I CANT believe I have this determination + patience + stamina ...

See? Yummylicious rite?

Oh and I cant wait to sink my teeth into it....

Forget about the calories liao..eat first...consequences later...

Previously I have blogged about how Zann disliked soft toys. We couldn't understand the reason for her strong reactions. Even up till now, she still can't accept the furry stuffs.

But err....You know what? Recently, she has been hugging the yellow bear while walking around. I think she has started to like the Winnie the pooh soft toy, which AJ has gave her last year.....

The toy which has been 'cast away' for a while finally has been accepted!

p/s: The shot was taken last week.

She now recognises it as bear bear (as we affectionately call it).
After all, this is the only soft toy she likes.

Last nite ~~cos of AL~~, I am NOT able to sleep well and the effects of my lack of sleep struck me whole day. I woke up feeling faint and with a throbbing migraine attacking me. I promised myself to go bed earlier tonight, but looking at the time now, it doesn't seem likely.....

Now I feel like a walking zombie ~~today~~ ... and I cant bring myself to meet D later. Sssian.

Do you know donuts can be addictive especially Dunkin Donuts? I had them for my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I never understand why Dunkin has so many donut fans and why their damn queue can be as equally looooong as in Singapore Pool.

I finally understood. Their donuts are simply yummylicious man.....

Why isn't there a franchise nearby ...

ME: Ya lor. So how was it? (*waiting for an answer*)

AL: (*Staring at me for awhile*) OK la.

ME: Eh...U dun lie to me hur..TELL ME THE TRUTH.

AL: (*sticking out the tongue*) IT"S very HOT lor...

Heh. I used up one pack of curry powder. Er...must ~~trial and error~~ learn from mistake la..I guess I need more improvement can....

*Pray* hopefully later we don't need to 跑 toliet arh...

Her signs of showing sleepiness are sucking thumb and rubbing eyes. After a haircut this afternoon, I saw that she was tired. And so I brought her to her own bed, expecting she would doze off soon. But she stood up and cried once I lied down. I cant figure out the reason. Ok, I let her play with her toys awhile then. She cried again after I asked her. "U want to drink water?"

Haiz....What's wrong?

That was a terrible mood swing! 100% Confirm FEMALE.

The Haircut

Well, considering the unbearable hot weather these days, I decided a hair cut. Not for me la. It's for Zann. I wanted to keep her hair long, so asked for a trim lor. And she was a good girl....I thought she would fuss..but she just sat quietly on my lap, holding onto the candies and allow the saloon to cut her hair. *Grins

It's so hard not to give in whatever she wants when it comes to FOOD.
This afternoon, she saw me chomping cheese cracker. And she started to follow me and said "yao" (means want).

I knew she refused to be strapped to high chair these days. Plus me doesnt want the crumbs all over the floor.

So an idea struck me. Heh heh...
I decided to use the bath tub. Can wash the mess easily.
Without me asking her, she went to sit inside waiting eagerly. *Grins

Finally. I managed to get the rented vcd an hour ago.

AL: so, what's for dinner?

ME: eh...nothing. I didn't cook also.

AL: huh..then what did you eat?

ME: OREO lor. U want?

AL: ...................

In the end, he had instant noodle for dinner. Eh..I am not lazy or what lor, I am having the pain on and off and it really caused me no mood to cook. Worse, my craving got the better of me.

I didn't realise that I have been ~~gobbling up~~ chomping on Oreo whole day can...and that my eating therapy didn't help at all.

Zann was crying in her sleep. I wasnt awaken by her loud cries. It was the barking sound that came from downstairs. And it was 300am exactly. Spooky. I cant lie down after that. The minute I did that, my darling started to cry again. So, I ended up sitting in the meditating position for an hour. Which I concussed after that ...

I could hear from the phone, he sound disappointed.

He was supposed to go China next month on another working trip, but his company changed the mind of sending him. And the date actually crashed with my birthday, 11 May. Is it because of the email I sent to his boss last week? I couldnt find any answer but I knew it was, somehow.

And I knew whether the date crashed with my birthday, he would still go if company asked him to. So, should I feel sad or happy?

How can we reach a stage of compromise without somebody resenting something? The hidden intentions - Good or Bad?

Just hope that either of our forgetful mind would soon leave that moment behind, and that he would not continue harping on it.

The Mee of my life

Waking up at 700am, running through a hot shower to start my morning fresh.
And I had fried mee as my staple breakfast, to fill my bottomless pit - tummy.
Cant do this often, if not I ll turn into a fat cow.
I placed the brown wrapper on top of yesterday's Sunday Times.

Until I saw the copyline in the Lifestyle section, '50 delicious recipes using instant mee'. I didn't know that one packet of instant mee can turn into gourmet. It simply looks yummylicious.

Fortunately, I saw this. And I decided to keep the copy.

1030am

My stomach started growling for food.
I didn't have a proper dinner the previous night.
And so that makes me feeling famished.

AL was back.
Ha..So I ranted, ranted and ranted until he promised
to bring us go out for a heartful lunch.

And yes, it was a fantabulous lunch, in a nice ambience.

But Zann was oblivious to the environment....She was kicking a fuss and
refused to be strapped to her high chair. Even as I was feeding her lunch,
she showed me her funny face, and the very uncouth manner of
playing saliva.

The whole floor was scattered with rice.
The manager walked past and gave us a wryly smile.

Er..no choice lo...~~with a super naughty~~, hyper active toddler around,
it's like that one hor.

Oh I like this shot. It was a cutey sight.
Both were in slumberland while waiting for me.

Tired.

Hopefully by tomorrow, I am able to clear my floozy mind of all it's clutter......

p/s: I am not mean la. I was changing her wet shirt resulted from excessive drooling. Realised she looked cute w/o wearing. So decided to take the shot.

Woo hoo..My Zann is 16 months old today.

knows how to walk independently. Hooray!

understands the meaning when I say " Forehead come together"
which she will come forward pressing her forehead onto mine and planted a kiss. LOL

Improved imitating she will follows my gesture when she sees me talking on the hp.

Dislikes drinking plain water now. Has a sweet tooth.

Knows how to say "mei you" which means dun have.

Started to fuss when she doesnt get the things she wants. Sometimes to the extent of throwing tantrums.

She has learnt how to place any stuffs onto my palm when I say "Give Mommy".

And I knew she wasnt that keen on it.

So was it my negligence?

Initially I thought was stung by mosquito, so I applied ointment, thinking the swelling will go down eventually. But I am wrong. I was kind of worried when I saw pus this morning. Worse, the patch around was so red. No choice, have to bring Zann see a doctor liao. And that was my 3rd time went out again.
The first time was heading to market and second time was having lunch outside. Shacked.

Doctor told me her wound need to be observed. Given 2-3 days, if the swelling still hasnt subside, I will have to bring her to see doc again.
For injection or others ( I dunno) to reduce infection.

Not bad hur. Can 'Kiao Kar' while waiting for food to be served.

ONE I don't like to sleep with blankets. Dont ask me why, It's a habit since young.

TWO I hate gravy on rice served to me. I prefer dry rice, pls..

THREE Chocolate milk shake is my happy drink. This is the first thing I reach for when I am sad.

FOUR I tend to be moody when my period comes. For no reason, I will cry and feel miserable over nothing.

FIVE I love bitter coffee. That is coffee w/o sugar at all.

SIX I hate noise. I cant sleep even with the slightest bit of noise.

She has been throwing her toys everywhere on the floor. And instead of keeping them back into the container, she has actually shoved all of them under the bed. And to my discovery, there were so many, including the long-lost ones. And this has became her latest habit, for fun and no reason. She would even chuckled each time I digged out the toys. *Slap forehead
